What We Do - LMI

Labour-Market Integration

Internships, volunteerships and corporate learning

Why

Completing training does not automatically translate into employment. Young people need access to professional networks, workplace exposure, practical experience and continued support as they transition from learning into the labour market.

What

Labour Market Integration is NairoBits’ approach to connecting students and alumni with employment opportunities through volunteerships, internships and corporate learning programs. It bridges the gap between technical training and professional experience, helping graduates build pathways into the workforce.

How

NairoBits works with employers and partners to identify relevant opportunities and facilitate workplace placements, including internships and corporate learning programs. Within AMP, this includes a mandatory three-month internship followed by a further six-month attachment after graduation. NairoBits also maintains contact with graduates and host organisations for up to three months after placement to monitor progress, address challenges and support successful transitions into the workplace.
