NairoBits sits at the intersection of digital skills, enterprise, and youth empowerment — which means your time and skills up in a dozen different ways, from the classroom to the boardroom.
Volunteering with us assures you of experiencing the world through different lenses — it is a rollercoaster of meeting people with differing perspectives and realities. Over and beyond, volunteering is an opportunity to develop new skills or build on existing experience and knowledge, all while contributing to a 25-year track record of measurable change.

Co-deliver ICT Training
Teach a module your own expert in — from front-end to back-end modules, to UI/UX, design and digital literacy — bringing your real-world expertise straight to students who need it most.
Join the Programs Team
Help behind the scenes with our programmes staff in curriculum design, partner coordination, mentorship & evaluation or event logistics — this might even include future NairoBits centres.
Offer Counselling Sessions
Mental health is a navigating real personal and economic pressure alongside their training. If you have counselor or social worker credentials, express details to student well-being.
I came in to teach one design module and stayed for three cohorts. Watching a student who couldn’t open a laptop six weeks earlier present their own portfolio — that’s a feeling you don’t get many places.
