Advanced Multimedia Program
Why
Access to advanced technical training and workplace experience remains limited for young people from underserved communities. Entering the technology sector requires more than foundational computer skills; young people also need specialist expertise, practical experience and exposure to professional working environments.
What
The Advanced Multimedia Program (AMP) is a nine-month apprenticeship diploma for DLP graduates, specialising in either front-end web development or multidisciplinary design. It combines technical instruction, design thinking and industry-informed learning, followed by a mandatory three-month internship.
How
NairoBits builds on the foundational skills learners acquire through DLP by providing specialised training in coding or design, delivered by industry-expert instructors. The program integrates design thinking into technical education and concludes with a mandatory internship, giving graduates an opportunity to apply their knowledge in a professional environment and gain practical workplace experience.
